Table Love
May 18, 2012 | by editor reviewI already have enough furniture than I need and sometimes wish I could start all over with a clean slate. If I could...I would love the Saarinen tulip table topped in dreamy white Carrera marble. If I could...I would...

Sputnik Chandelier Love
April 30, 2012 | by editor reviewWe seem to be having a lighting fetish here at Gramercy! This baby caught my eye the minute I walked into the shop, Fat Chance, on North La Brea in Los Angeles. Hanging in the back of the shop, it sparkled like a diamond necklace. Unfortunately, I didn't need any lighting, but ever since I lay eyes on it I seem to be seeing sputnik chandeliers everywhere!
How about this IKEA Makros chandelier (last picture) in the Swedish ambassador's residence? Hey, if IKEA is good enough for the ambassador I think it should be good enough for me! And if you're a crafty gal, how about this IKEA Makros DIY(middle picture) project by Jenny Komenda of Little Green Notebook?
From low to high, there's a Sputnik for you!

Chandelier at Alain Ducasse at Hotel Plaza Athnenée, Paris
April 24, 2012 | by editor reviewOn my last trip to Paris, I had the pleasure of dining at the famed Alain Ducasse restaurant in the Plaza Athenée Hotel. We were in town for a long weekend celebrating a friend's milestone birthday so what trip is complete without tons of eating and shopping?
What struck me instantly was the beautiful dining room that was glittering from the brilliance of the magnificent "chandelier." I say "chandelier" because it wasn't a chandelier in the typical sense, but approximately 10,000 crystals suspended from the ceiling. What a great way to set the stage for a truly unforgettable meal! Check out the lighting here...can you imagine this in your home?

Ana Antunes Home Styling
April 17, 2012 | by editor reviewSo I'm surfing the web, trying to find images of lacquer boxes. I find an image in Adore Magazine that was styled by Ana Antunes and I love it so much that I decide to google her name. And am I in interior designer love! First of all, she uses lots of lacquer bxes in her concept boards (great minds think alike) and her interiors are gorgeous! A Lisbon based interior designer, she is the host of her own home makeover tv show. Check out her blog here: http://home-styling.blogspot.com/
Take a look here at her office and her reception area. Does she need an assistant?

The Waylande Gregory Collection
April 15, 2012 | by editor reviewWe're thrilled to announce that we have added the Waylande Gregory to our site. Re-introduced by his great-grand nephew, Bryan Downey and fashion entrepreneur Mickey Rosmarin, this iconic collection is being reproduced by trained artisans in Peru to the highest standards. Hand crafted from high-fired porcelain and stoneware using rich matte glazes, 22k gold and platinum.
We love the patterns of all Waylande Gregory pieces that also complement our collection of lacquerware and agate pieces. Part wit/part iconic, these pieces are truly artistic and unique and would make for great hostess and wedding gifts. We hope you love them as much as we do!
